About Us

Hi, My name is Amy. I started Talismanic Co in 2022 to explore meaningful product design inspired by the history, beauty and symbolism of nature, rituals, and our connection to the world.

Living in Meanjin/Brisbane, I'm lucky to never be far from an amazing beach trip, bush walk, ourdoor concert or a market trip. But, I also know how harsh our sun is, and how much more I should be doing for my own sun protection. I grew up with "no hat no play" but as most rebellious teens, wasn't too keen on my boring plain coloured school hat.

A desire for bolder designs inspired me to put together a range of hats to make outdoor days be more enjoyable and colourful (and sun protected!)

We create small-batch, bold hats for festivals, beach days, doofs, and everyday dopamine dressing. Our pieces are for people who love bright colours, quirky embroidery, and prints that don’t take themselves too seriously.

You’ll find reversible bucket hats with wild patterns, 5-panel festival caps, and dad hats with a twist – designed in Australia and made to turn heads and spark compliments.
